Modelworks - 'Crashed Eagle' Diorama Scale: 1/72 scale (12 inches) Status: One-off original diorama Available from: Not available Built from scratch by MW Modelworks, this Eagle Transporter is an AMT/ERTL kit with much added detail. The command module is removable, has rear hatch detail and the port side and bottom are damaged as seen in the episode "Missing Link". Magnets hold it in place. to the forward compartment which also has engraved hatch detail. The fragile kit version "snap on-snap off" clip of the passenger module has been replaced with magnets on the inside roof of the compartment. They cling to six metal struts added to the spine truss. Engraved plastic hatch and details cover both ends of the module. The plastic fill between the framework of the forward and rear compartments has been removed, and detailed inserts put behind them. The forward port landing gear pod has been sheared off as seen in the episode "Seance Spectre". Nine additional pipes have been added to the engine assembly. More accurate decals from Tangents were used throughout. The base is a 13 x 10.5 inch lunar landscape with kit parts providing the debris field |
