These pages follow closely my efforts in building the Replicas Unlimited 23" Space 1999 Eagle Transporter purchased from Federation Models.  I had read some of the other write-ups on this kit, like those of E. James Small and John Lester, and they gave me the inspiration to attempt it (and the fact that I've always wanted a BIG Eagle!).  I'm not an experienced modeller - not by a long shot.  In fact, the last thing I built was a styrene 1/48 scale A10 Thunderbolt way back in 1984!

The following pages detail the construction of this resin kit from a novices' point of view and will hopefully encourage others to build one for themselves
I built this Space 1999 Eagle Transporter for me and me only.  I was more concerned with the finish and weathering than I was with technical accuracy.  That said, I aimed to make it as accurate as I could.  In fact, I used most of Small Art Works' aluminium accessories and a couple of other 'specials' which are revealed later to enhance the realism just that little bit more
All imagery here is executed by myself unless otherwise credited and I retain full and exclusive copyright.  You're more than welcome to use the photos here for your own personal use (research/reference etc) but if you wish to use them publicly on the internet (for auctions, websites or anywhere else) please ask....it's only courtesy and will avoid legal action.  Hotlinking of any image from my server is also illegal. If you wish to use images publicly - just ask!
These pages are quite image intensive...sorry to those dial-up users among us.  For those interested, the photos were taken on a Nikon D1H / D1X digital SLR camera with a shoe-mounted SB-80 DX Flashgun.  The imaging software used was CorelDRAW Graphics Suite and the web pages were authored with an ancient copy of HoTMetaL 4.0
At the end of each page you'll find the 'Red Alert' logo - click on it to email me.  You'll also find a door which will take you through to the next pod
