Federation Models (http://www.federationmodels.com) had a new kit from Replicas Unlimited - a Mark IX Hawk in scale with their Eagle kit. From what I saw it's a very nice kit - good symetry and details, and fine casting. I don't believe it's up on their website yet, but I'll try to dig up more information.
I didn't buy it because I got myself one of their Eagles, a kit I've wanted for ages. And I'll have to say, the castings on that kit were superb. Cheers! |

But is it really in scale. Length is quoted as 20". Is that still not a big big to be in scale with a 23" Eagle?
Also it looks like you have to hollow out the CM as per the AB kit? Keith |

As to the cockpit, yes it is solid and would have to be hollowed out if you wished to put in cockpit detail. That didn't even occur to me when I saw it as I would probably be just as likely to keep it solid with no cockpit detail. |
