I wonder if one was stock and the other was shot for the programme or something like that. The continuity department was very small for these shows... I love it, part of their appeal. The old TB 1 wheels no wheels landing gear, and blue rings no rings of the fuselage are some other fun examples.

I seem to remember that some of the old VW beetles had little oval grilles somewhere on the front and always thought that this is what were used on the Thunderbird 5 control room set. Of course I could be quite wrong ( age and memory etc). You don't see many of those old beetles about now.

Captain ed superb thought my fingers couldn't tap out Ebay fast enough to check. The heart was a pound'n when i looked at them then i opened another screen to the captures from Mr. Delamar ohhh darn it. But as Mike said you got something there i would say if these are plastic they could be reworked and then molded. So thanks for the great idea love this global think tank. How did we all do it back in the 80's with out computers that song keeps playing,"All by myselffff" sure felt like that.

What's rather fun is that in that scene John speaks with Gordon's voice... more continuity fun. One must also marvel at how John is managing to balance that very heavy cover so neatly on the computer bank. ALso interesting is how the heads, at this angle, look so large and wrong. The work much better from the front view, or may be its the lack of caps that's doing it.
