Default MK9 Hawks in the Comic books

Fs-Boneyard

Well since iv landed here I dug up my old box of Space 1999 stuff
Which Besides the broken models and VHS tapes
I Found my comic books ...And I find thumbing through them
that the MK9 Hawk is used by ALPHA and Alan Carter as A fighter
In Place of the Eagles..In one Comic book the Eagle has A full Cargo Box
with some kind of Vehicle Bigger then the Bananna Buggy...
But what stands out is the Hawk Is part of the Fleet of Spacecraft..

I dont see why in the second season We added Lazers Cannons
and new sets But no Hawks...

Now the Stupid Hawk Question......I need to know

What is hanging off the wings...Lazer Cannons /Machine guns/Rockets??
I know in war games all they had were blinking lights for guns...
but hose things must do somthing...

Well, this was around many years ago in an issue of Starlog magazine...

Roberto Baldassari also had a set of blueprints he'd made, but they're out of print. (Perhaps he could be persuaded to reprint them if enough people request it nicely; I've e-corresponded with him in the past, and he seems to be a nice gentleman. Of course, as with things in most of our lives, cost becomes a deciding factor. )

For my write-up for the 1998 Model Engineer Exhibition, I came up with the following weapons systems:

1 x 50 MW pulsed pan-chromatic laser
6 x 7.5 MW lasers, in pylon-mounted housings
2 x12-shot plasma bolt launchers, mounted at the wing tips

I know it was a blinking light in war games but was that a Lazer
or a pulse cannon firing on the Hawk????
