In response to paul gray... Type your message, then click & drag over whatever part you want to change formatting on. Then, you can use the formatting tools just above the message box to change fonts, add italics and/or bolding, change the colour, etc. For example, this sentence is now in italics. This sentence is now in a different colour. (Go to the arrow just to the right of the big capital A, between 'sizes' and the smiley... a colour chart will drop down, and you can select your colour from there.) You can even change size. Hope this helps.

As for Cloverfield, another thing I liked was the unexpectedness of what happened. For example, when people died, it wasn't telegraphed, nor were there "Hang on, I'll save you--oh, no!" followed by "You tried everything you could to save him/her... it wasn't your fault" cliches. When death occured, it was sudden and unexpected. Just like in real life.

Funny to be resurrecting this thread, but I finally got to see Cloverfield tonight on DVD and just loved it. I loved the real feel of the home movie... made all the jurky nonsense that we see in films acceptable and it had a plausable ending. Top stuff, and a way cool monster... and monsterettes too. Wish they were all as good as this.

...and a very intense movie. One of those films that makes you feel like you just drank 10 cups of coffee by the time it's all over. Just found the DVD in the bargain bin a couple of days ago and looking forward to seeing it again.

I'm a big Kaiju fan.... The Host was pretty good as well but Godzilla will always be king. If you haven't seen this, or not a giant monster movie fan, it really is worth checking out ~

Yes there was an Abrams there, but I did wonder about the Abbot. Guess they didn't want the monster to squash anything new
