Default 40th Anniversary of the Moon Landings

Is anyone else planning on going to see Space:1999 and UFO being screened at the BFI as part of the 40th anniversary of the moon landings?

It's on Friday 31st July.

Cheers
Les

Live a tad too far away.
Does anyone on here remember watching it all happen on TV?

Yes, I do. Being born in 1955 I can still remember watching the Gemini and Apollo projects on a small b&w tv-screen.

And of course the first runs of 'Thunderbirds' and 'Captain Scarlet' on that same screen. I can't remember UFO (it probably wasn't shown in the Netherlands), but I remember Space 1999 in colour on it's first run here.

Hopefully, we'll be around long enough to see Man return to the Moon, and a functioning base there. We've waited too long as it is!
