Default Senmut, you are correct.

Arkadia is unanswered question. What happened to Luke Ferro and Anna Davis on Planet Arkadia?

By the way, Shane Johnson is, or was some time ago, a member here.

Would have to agree here.

That COULD have been maybe answered in y2...or even y3 had there been a y3 *I've always thought the show had the potential to do the average five seasons had it been written properly in y2*...but Had there been more seasons, maybe they cuold have revisited Arkadia, like gone through a time warp and wound up back there many moons later to see the results of what Luke and Anna began.

Would there have been a new world there? Or would there have been a repeat of death and destruction.?

How would the Alphans kow that they were back on Arkadia?

Would they want to stay?

If they don't stay, what would make them leave?

Default SPACE:1999 have been renewed

If the STAR TREKs NG, VOYAGER, DS9 each ran seven seasons, then it was surely a creative crime that SPACE:1999 did not have a Season#3...#4 ...#5 at least.

I totally agree. It's funny I remember listening to the alternate scores for the show and thinking about which ones would work for which seasons...it's alost like they originally planned to go at least five seasons.

I'd have liked to see more season of Space: 1999 if they'd returned to the tone of the first season and the whole cosmic force/guidance thing. If not, I'd prefer the way things are, where I can view as one big story, and forget most of Year Two ever happened. And hey, the novels do a great job of continuing the season one tone too.

You are correct. I wonder how many official SPACE:1999 novels and short stories there are? Those are our SPACE:1999 seasons#3,4,5,6,7.

Who knows WHEN or WHICH timeline Moonbase Alpha is currently occupying. According to dialogue from "Death's Other Dominion"...

Bergman: "...they (meaning the Uranus Probe crew) or we have been through some kind of time warp. The year is 2870..."

There was never any indication that they went back to their "own time" after the episode. The next we hear of an actual year is in "Journey To Where" where its' stated the Earth is in the middle of the 22nd Century. Of course, that means nothing on Moonbase Alpha.
