Default 1/24th Figures

Has anyone, or will anyone be making figures in 1/24th scale?
Seems strange all these 44" eagles and everyone is using the Gemini figures :-)
So I'm thinking of having some made and casting a few extras up, maybe start with:

or

Yes, I have something planned... 1/24 Racing Drivers are good donors. Also the typical helmets should be easily convertable. But I have not started yet. The Eagle comes first, then the astronauts...

Yes, it's a bit odd people using the same Gemini figures in their replicas that were used originally.

Does anyone sell a casting of the Gemini figures? My kit was missing one and I will need 2 for the future 44"er!

Yes Chris I know what was originally used :-) but remember they were never meant to be 'seen' or looked at as a display model would be. Any time there was a good look a video instert/overlay was done. I'm planing to make my nose interior a little more detailed than a piece of wood with a magic maker too :-)

I am currently trying these out. Scale seems about right.

I guess they are "only" 1/32 scale... otherwise they would be great. I try the "Verlinden 1/24 Racing Drivers" but also have something else in mind...

I saw a website about Space 1999 1/24 figures a few months back bit didn't save it. It was some chap's amateur casted figures and they were very good.

I will do some research and try and find it for you. I only found it by mistake.

When I find it I will COPY and PASTE it here!
