Default New kits on the way from Pegasus

For those like me that may be eagerly awaiting the release of the Galaxyquest Protector there is more good news coming out of Pegasus models.
Announced at the iHobbyExpo show in the states are the following new kits.
In addition to the previous War of the Worlds kits, look for a new Martian figure from the George Pal movie in early 2010.
Pegasus will also be producing new kits of the Tripod and Martian from the recent Spielberg War of the Worlds movie.
The one I'm personally looking forward too though is the "When Worlds Collide" Space Ark on launch ramp.
The Space Ark and Galaxy Quest kits will be also be available as prebuilt models.
Test shots of the Martian & Space ark were on show & can be seen on the CultTVMan web site.
New kits in Pegasus line of concept kits include the Mercury 9 Rocket and the MLEV5 Mars Lunar Explorer Vehicle.
My Wallet is crying at the thought.

What are you basing this on ? I could'nt see any prices quoted but going on the prices charged in the UK for the large Pal War machine I'm expecting these to be in the region of 25 to 30 pounds depending on the exchange rate, average price these days for an injected kit of this size & type.

I was only able to find the smaller scale rein ones for about 30+ when I looked. Admittedly this was quite a while ago

Ahhh, now i follow you, yes the Comet Tripods were resin, I have one myself in the stash.
I must admit I prefer the manta design but the Jeff Wayne album is one of my favourites, I remember pestering my parents to get it for my birthday back when it was first released, "The heat ray", and of course "The eve of war" are my favourite tracks.

The Martian War Machines are out. I saw an assembled version that is a 1/48 or 1/96 scale and the kit with a 1/144 scale diorama. Sadly all I had money for today were some O gauge joiners to adapt for my monorail. Tons of great kits coming out, and I'm glad the amazing Pilgrim Observer kit is out. Some great imagination went into that kit, and it's a fantastic source of cool parts for the kitbasher.
