Thank you Doon!

I know it’s just a “prêt-a-porter” type of Eagle model...but still, anything new Eagle-related is always good-news…and it’s been a while since I’ve added a novelty to my fleet…

I’m now looking forward (like many of us around here) to the anxiously awaited Eagle Gift set…and I’m also hoping that PE will continue developing other “Eagle sets”…who knows, maybe even one that will include a grab arm similar to the one Comet will soon produce…that would be great!

For those interested, I’ve just added a few new pics to my initial post.

Cheers!!!

Very nice addition to your fine collection eagletransporter

Does the pax pod have subtle shading over the orange? The white walkways set it apart from the other PE's as well.

Thank you Flywestjet…and yes, although not quite visible in my shots, the shading is there…very subtle indeed…just right the right amount!

Concerning the (very welcome!) white walkways…I am now wondering if PE will stick with those in their future Eagle releases…
Anyone around knows something about this?....The Doctor maybe?

The detailing on the walkways stands out much more in white, and the subtle weathering over the orange is a nice touch by PE not apparent in the original advertising.

The photographic work is excellent as well eagletransporter!

It does look good! Great pics too!

Quick answer to the question: should anymore Eagles be produced, they will have the white walkways, but Mr. PE doubts that he'll sell another 6000 of each model, but never say never!

It'd be interesting to know the current sales figures of all the PE Eagles to date. Recalling that the original run of the standard Eagle was only to be a limited edition 6,000, what must it be now? 20,000+?

Doc?...thank you very much for taking the time to answer my query…as well as for your kind words regarding my low-budget pics!

…and I’m sorry to say this but…I still don’t like your sig line (even though it was recently updated… )

Cheers!

Thanks Rob!!!....but my fave PE in my collection is still the one that was heavily upgraded somewhere near the Louisiana bayou…
If you miss seeing her, just check Flywestjet’s “mandatory” website…Friend’s gallery…and there she is …along with a certain "cajun" AB…

By the way Skipper…I’ve just revisited your “eagle models & replicas” page…and was happy to notice that you’ve finally managed to post pics - and VERY nice ones too - of Eagles 2 and 3!!!!…pity they’re so small…
That page is pure eye-candy...
Cheers!

Does this mean the yet to be released gift set will have white walkways?
