Default SPACE:1970 Blog

SPACE:1970 BLOG appreciates the Science-Fiction Television and Movies of the 1970s...including the absolutely only reason why I would mention it to you fellow Eagle Transporter Forum Members, of course, the brilliant Gerry Anderson's UFO and SPACE:1999.

Thanks for the link Steve - I enjoyed checking out this blog.

I notice he's got a poll going for favorite sci-fi series of the 1970s, and Space: 1999 is currently running second to Battlestar Galactica.

You are welcome Robert. I think as all the ETF Members visit we will get SPACE:1999 into the correct number one spot.

I'm pleased to see Fantastic journey did not even place. After the snarky Starlog article putting down Space:1999 and praising FJ - I think by the producer of the thing - I do find that satisfying. Seems people's taste really is in the true fantastic future shows! (Sorry to all you FJ fans).

And it's a stunning 35 yard volley from Healvis to bring the game all square.
