See that Bonhams are having and auction of Dr Who & Torchwood items. Sad to see the Torchwood SUV up for sale, that could mean no more Torchwood as we know it

While the origin may have been to defend England, it does seem a bit strange to have every world threat focus on Britian exclusively. Reminds me of VttBotS whene any alien who wants to attack Earth first has to visit the Seaview.
IIRC - UNIT was international, I could see the need to expand Torchwood to the same scope to deal with threats to the planet itself, not just protect one nation... |

Who knows- they may.
U.N.I.T. was the support, the Doctor was the brains. Perhaps Capt'n Jack will provide the brains for U.N.I.T. this time, and bring along what is left of Torchwood to help. The 'Children of Earth' pretty much flatlined Torchwood as we knew it, the next incarnation will have some new ground to explore. . |

There are indications that a fourth series of Torchwood may be in the pipeline. John Barrowman said that a new series was "in discussion" in an interview on BBC Radio 2 - have a look here.
Anyway, going back to the auction - something like the Torchwood SUV isn't you usual collectible, not something you can easily stick on a shelf and admire!! Also, the estimated price is £10 - £15,000. Eek!! |

Slightly off topic- this is an interesting custome car designed to resemble another classic. http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e2...164/ecto1k.jpg They would show in costume, make a bunch of light & noise and hand the owner a fake bill then disappear. . |
