Hi All - I know this forum is for Space 1999 but I collect a wide variety of SF items and am looking for some Master Replicas Star Trek items for my collection. They can be either the LE (Limited Edition) or SE (Signature Edition) but must be from The Original Series (Kirk/Spock etc).
Please PM me with what you have available - either Phaser, Communicator or Tricorder and maybe my family will sanction a purchase for Christmas to put a big smile on my face. Many Thanks Shado4 Last edited by Shado4; 22-11-2009 at 04:10 PM. |

I'd love some of these too, but I fear they're out of my price range...

The die-cast TOS Phaser is regarded as one of MR's best products, but they ain't cheap! There's one on Ebay USA at the moment.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Master-Replica...item2303fd745d Nearly $1000 and present and it isn't even a signature edition or artist proof one!

I know the seller and he's completely reliable.

Your right Shado I have the TOS set and the phaser is beautiful. I was lucky and got a Nimoy SE #20 a few years ago. I also got an LE comm but on the back it says signature edition and came with an LE plate. The tricorder is also a beautiful replica. I'm not sure if I would be willing to split the set though. If you are after a comm I would consider the kit that John Long has produced. It is absolutely screen accurate and was cast of an original (as seen in the city on the edge of forever) and is a lot more accurate than the MR comm.

I managed to snag two Master Replicas SE Phasers on eBay last night - a Patrick Stewart TNG version and a Leonard Nimoy TOS Phaser and look forward to receiving them both from the USA in the near future.
I suppose that I'm now looking for a William Shatner SE TOS Phaser along with the LE TOS Phaser, SE Communicators, LE Communicator, SE Tricorders (if they did them) and LE Tricorder - I can feel a second mortgage coming on!!! |

As far as I know they never did a SE Tricorder. You forgot to mention the artist proof versions. I have my finger on an MR Enterprise at the moment fingers crossed. I managed to get hold of an MM Phaser a couple of years ago which I am attempting to build. Getting hold of the correct paint is proving difficult.

To be perfectly honest, I've seen the expression "Artist Proof" on a few auction descriptions and never knew what it meant or how you could tell that an item was an "Artist Proof" from something that wasn't - any ideas?

As far as I know Shado there is no difference in any of the products it is the plaque that is different and on the bottom of the P1 and communicator it says signature edition. When MR first started to advertise them I remember the photo showed a screw on the P2 just above the handle like was visible on one of the first B&W phasers that was used on the show. This screw detail was removed because it was not accurate. Can you PM me with the # of your Nimoy SE and how much you payed for it so I can gauge how much mine is worth shado. Thanks and I hope you enjoy the prop it is beautiful.

Doesn't anyone have anything they wish to part with? I'm still in the market for some of these great items and really would appreciate hearing from anyone who has anything for sale.

I kind of stumbled upon this forum by accident, but I have a MR Star Trek First Contact phaser Artist Proof that I might be willing to part with. Let me know what you think, or if you're even still interested. malama pono~

Not sure if anyone is still interested, but I have a Master Replica TOS phaser and a communicator that I am willing to part with since my wife won't let me put them on display in our house. They are both in excellent condition, I have all the packaging and certificates for each.
Both are signature edition with Shatner and numbered in the 200's I think (stock number ST-101S and ST-103S). Send me a private note if you are interested, I would rather they go to someone who will appreciate them rather than sell them on ebay. |

I had the tricorder and sold it last year for $500, I may still have the Klingon Disrupter in the box but will have to check

I suppose that I'm really looking for the Phasers now - especially a Shatner Signature edition (I already have three Nimoy ones) and an LE TOS Phaser. |

Don't know if your still interested, but I have a NEVER OPENED Artist Proof TOS Phaser I am going to be selling soon. The box seal has never been opened. I purchased it as an investment because I have a Nimoy Signature edition. There are some expensive items coming out so I am going to try and sell the phaser.
