Default The SPV Parody

Don't get me wrong, i adore the SPV

Its one of the greatest TV vehicles of all time, to me it trumps any Batmobile and lets face it, we've all wanted to drive one so we thought why not.

However While its a lovely looking craft there are a few problems in a real world application. It is a 25ft long ( we measured it out on my street that was fun), 20 wheeled tank like monstrosity that could effectively "own" anything coming across it at either side of the road. It is also driven backwards by video monitor which creates its own large set of problems.

Needless to say this was a VERY fun we project to work on.

Hope you guys like it, its not every day you get to joyride your favrouite tv vehicle.

I agree - the SPV has so much potential:

1) Changing a tyre (to one of those 'space saver', no more than50m.p.h. ones)
2) Where's the horn?
3) Bumping into some crates (empty of course) in a pursuit and accidentally triggering the Dinky missile in the front.
4) Trying to park in a car park (you'd need a couple of bays)
5) Where is the filler cap?
6) Getting a parking ticket/clamp

Etc.

2* Blue uses a horn in big ben strikes again.
5* It runs on hydrogen apparently.

I did my research
However the buttons on the steering wheel arn't labeled, i wonder how they tell the difference between the horn and the cannon, not that it matters, the end result is the same.

Chris, your hilarious SPV parody film ending was an extreme cliffhanger...but will there be a sequel?

No sequal as planned but who knows, inspiration may strike.

Might try the Rhino but in real life that would barely go backwards and forwards and steer like a spanish gallieon.

Loving the pun Steve

Chris, sounds like there should be a cross country race 'Captain Scarlet & The Mysterons' SPV versus the 'New Captain Scarlet' RHINO. There is your sequel?
