Question T Shirts

I'm sure lots of other people will have seen t shirts advertised in sci-fi and other mags with things like Weland Yutan Corporation (typo) and Summer Isle that discretely show your enthusiasm for a film tv or show without attracting ridicule/(in Newcastle) extreme violence.

I would like such a t-shirt but with a GA reference.

I'm not aware of a fictional corporation or organisation that could be used for S1999 but there must be ones.

Failing that what about raiding TB, UFO, Scarlet etc.

'Grey Houseman Construction' springs to mind.

I'm not looking to make any $ on this, it was just a thought.

Which would be nothing to the reaction in Birkenhead, but I digress...

It's a good idea, although copyright always rears its head on such things. A design with no text would be good - off the top of my head a schematic of Alpha? However producing multiples for sale may well invite upset.

Cafe Press will do "one offs" or others can buy the designs as well. I believe Eagle Transporter.Com utilizes them for the Eagle shirts!
I always wanted a "YOYODINE PROPULSIONS" shirt made!
"Laugh While-a You Can... MONKEYBOY!

There are Yoyodyne shirts around, I have one :-)
As for the others, I'm all in favor and have many like this. I think copyright problems can be avoided if they are either parody and/or not using TM'd names/logos.

H&S Studios, would be a good example.

I've always fancied a 'Human Decision Required' one.

I don't see there would be a problem with copyright at all. Noone is jumping on the garage kit makers for creating kits for fans.

Likewise I wouldn't anticipate anyone being bothered by a few T shirts that are made as a homage by fans.

The copyright thing has been discussed endlessly on ETF. Its just not worth anyones time to go after the people who buy the DVDs and keep the series alive.

I agree but sometime lawyers have nothing better to do. :-)
That said small runs (under 50 units) never seem to attract any attention.
There's people on the RPF that do this all the time.

I like Lee's H&S idea...Markers Universal would be another for the UFO gang.

The EUROSEC logo might be good for a T-shirt or patch...
