However I will continue to draw new prints to fill any of FANDERSON's needs.

Keith you deserve a publishing deal with FANDERSON. You are the Jedi master expert Space:1999 Blueprint draftsman. I will be purchasing all that you publish. I can't wait until the first release. I hope it will be this year. 2010 will be great.
Cheers,
Steve

Good news indeed, but does this mean that to get them you have to be a Fanderson member. I don't want to open up that debate again, but just curious.

Interesting question. If so, then there will be a flood of new Fanderson Memberships.

But he will be covered by Fanderson's limited licence.

Default Yes

Yes, you will have to join Fanderson. I have over 300 drawings so that means A LOT of volumes for Fanderson to release if the sales are good. Something to think about

I was a FANDERSON Member for years, in the past. I will definitely join Fanderson again to have access to purchasing your Blueprints exclusively from Fanderson. Keith, any idea when your first release will be done at FANDERSON and what volume will it be?

I will also join Fanderson again, to become a chance for getting your blueprints.
They should definitely think about an open shop !!!

Did you have an idea right now, how they will look like ? I have to much paper here and would be very happy about an CD release !

Default Blueprints....

Hi Keith,

Can I ask how technical and form accurate these drawings are? As model builders and some might say "replica prop" builders, will they include kit details and this kind of reference or do you think they are more artistic? Are they based on shooting miniatures or generic classes of vehicles?

Ruler, plasticard and scalpel standing by....

Out of the 300 drawings you have there will be at least 299 models I want to make (would be 300 but the Medical Centre never appealed to me). Alpha exteriors panel by panel on the other hand would make me empty my bank account....

No, I'm not trying to open up the Fanderson membership debate, but it looks like I'll be joining because I do want these blueprints. No matter how many people wish Fanderson had 'open sales' for non-members, we all have to accept that sales there are a membership benefit.
My only concern is that Fanderson won't publish the whole set if sales aren't high enough. I don't want to see a repeat of the old Starlog Tech Manual 'series' that went nowhere.
All misgivings aside, congratulations, Keith! I do hope for a long & successful relationship between you & Fanderson.

I’ve just renewed my Fanderson membership because I want these blueprints as well. Had the chance to see a lot of Keith’s work and was immediately convinced on how much of a “must have” his drawings are.
Also, one of the (many) advantages of being a Fanderson member is the guaranty of getting top quality on every item of their merchandise. I’ve seen some of the bootleg stuff occasionally available on eBay (namely DVDs)…just dreadful!

CR, I agree with you...I bought that STARLOG ALPHA MOONBASE TECHNICAL NOTEBOOK in 1978 at fourteen. It was a huge disappointment when STARLOG never continued the supplements(I wonder how many sold in 1978-79).

However, I think FANDERSON and Keith Young will not let history repeat itself. I will rejoin to purchase the new Blueprints.
