It's not too bad, but I'm not a huge E.C. Tubb fan as he has this knack of being more than a bit sexist, and that comes through in this book. It's partly a re-telling of Breakaway and partly a Y3 story. Not a bad read, but I find I like the POWYS books better.

I liked the book. It has touches of reimagining to it but it also addresses some of the things that were left as question marks in the series. The one thing I remember that irritated me was the over use of the word "susurration".

I very much enjoyed this book as well as his other two, Rogue Planet and Alien Seed. Pity they weren't episodes.
