Apparently Mike Reader sells the ensemble for $64.00.Does this include the 8 trusters underneath,or just the 4 main engines. Are the ones on Product Enterprise's Eagles so inaccurate that you guys feel the urge to replace them,or is it just that these aluminium replacements are just fancier.A close up comparison betweeb PE engines and the replacement set would be great. If someone can provide us with replacements, either in aluminium or resin, how much would they charge us for a complete set,or would a discount be offered if we bought several sets from that same seller.

I don't have a close-up comparison but these are Mike's.

Mighty-fine they are too and they make a world of difference.

Not sure if he sells the baffles with them though...

Fantastic engine bells.I wonder why P.E. failed to issue the same exact engine bells shape.Could someone issue the same bells but in resin at a much lesser price.Example:Enough resin bells for six Eagles for the same price of one set of aluminium bells.probably done without defects or air bubbles made by an experienced veteran after market resin parts maker.

Default more bells than you can shake a stick at

New year greetings to one and all

Hi Mike Reader here , sorry I have not been on here in a long time , busy doing stuff , and not much time for my self as of late , anyway I am here now , as you know I machined engine bells by the boat load ( or so it seemed ) for small art works for many years ( well 6 to be precise ) and now as Jim Small has moved on to bigger and better things , the mantel of making the aluminium stuff falls on my shoulder pods , so if you still need your PE eagle fitted out as before no problem , I will bw around for the foreseeable time .
I have read all the posts on this forum and have noticed a few things that need attention , although quality is not an issue here ( well I hope not ) cost
and speedy delivery are , as you are now dealing directly with me ( no middle man ) costs will be cheaper , I am not in this to make a quick buck as they say , and as delivery the no middle man rule still applies , you see I live miles from Jim and he used to get the order , get the material and wait for me to drive 65 miles to collect , wait for me to machine ,and then drive 65 miles to drop them off , When I lived in England everything was close to hand but here in rural Canada I live miles from the big city .
And I am afraid no aircraft aluminium here just glad I have a supplier how just give me the basic .
And for those asking I make all sizes of bells form 12" 22" 23" and 44"
plus all the smaller bells and sensor dishes for all craft , including the meta and ultra probes and side and spine boosters , plus movie replicas from Alien , 2001 a space odessy, Blade and Star Wars ..So if any one needs help with anything contact me at reader@mts.net only glad to help .

If you could display all the stuff you make on some internet site, close ups of items offer, shown on kits, shown apart from kits also.Scale size and price list,as well as including postage costs info, would be great.

I have some of Mike's bells on an Eagle he built for me, so for what it's worth, I will heartily testify as to the quality of the engine bells offered by him.....

So, no 1:1 scale Death Stars, then?

Can you PM me a price on the M40 Grenades - do they come with caps?

Hi Eagle
The M40 grenades come in two styles one a dummy with the cap machined into the actual body and not removeable and the other one with removeable cap and a working spring loaded detonator ( no explosives really )
Cost for the dummy one is around $ 7.50 cdn about 3.75 each the working model about $15.00 , 7.50 including cap , shipping extra depending on amount , but it ain't that much , as for a 1: 1 death star well if I can find a lathe 7500km's diameter then I can work on it , but the cost of materials would be around 140.000.000.000.034.56p
