Default Cap'n on deck, mid November....

Hi Guys,

I thought I would try to keep my promise and run the updates a little more often as things are so busy.

Digital Image Zipped Pack Images of Martin Willey's Studio Miniature Collection

Martin with a portion of his amazing collection

Martin with Dorzak's ship

The DIZP downloads should be available this weekend, comprising of the models from the collection of Martin Willey plus a few others. Martin kindly offered a few of us the chance to photograph this group of his original studio models during the Fanderson weekend recently. They will comprise of approx 300 hi-resolution uncompressed images per pack, showing every detail of these miniatures. You can also order these sets on DVD. Look for the thread releases with details of how to get them due out this weekend.

New 26" Thunderbird Three model mastered by Bob Smith

Plans are in progress with Bob Smith to master a series of models starting with a 26" Thunderbird Three. Bob and I have discussed re-issuing some of the old AB Models range plus some new subjects. I will complete the TB3 prototype during my Christmas holiday and should be ready for lift off in January.

The graphics and box art are ready to go, the instructions will be a photo guide style document with a full build thread guide on the forum.

Stingray is next on the list, this will be an 18" model again mastered by Bob. He has already produced the model and tooling needed to produce the kit. I am sure the RC enabled among us will be taking an interest.

The Original Moon Base Alpha Studio Miniature

After the sale of this model to CanveyJim I have been commissioned by Jim to undertake the task of bringing this beautiful model back to display standard. I will be starting a complete thread detailing the restoration work and a good look at how this model was made. It truly is a work of art, hi-resolution pictures as a digipack and a CAD drawing are being prepared as I write this. I am hoping to release a set of the basic building shapes laser cut in styrene so you can detail and complete a replica for yourselves....

Best for now.

Default Original studio models....

Just to be clear....

Martin's collection is the original studio models not replicas.

Here is a sample shot to show the level of detail in these images:

And I bet you've never seen Taybor's Emporium Like this....

See Chris Potter at work....

Taybor's Gun in perfect detail....

We photographed everything, every view possible, insides too where the model was sectional. Reference doesn't get any better than this.

How many 'Digipak's will there be? Will they be sorted by subject or some other criteria?

Hi Guys,

The first digipak is available now, full details here:
http://www.eagletransporter.com/foru...570#post230570

We have divided up the images by subject, with the first digipak being Dorzaks Ship.

These will be available as both digital download and physical CD purchases.

Further digipaks will be released in the coming weeks

Cheers,

Chris
