I didn't know that this box set came with two cuts of each film, that's pretty awesome! Has anyone bought this yet (I know it was released not too long ago)? Are the special features worth the price of admission? I just bought a new TV and some home theater seating and I can't wait to see Sigourney tear it up!

Do you think they will? I love the first one and the third one ... I will probably watch the second one twice at most.

I have the boxset. Funnily enough the best transfer in my opinion was Alien 3. The others were a little lacking.

I got the bluray boxset (6 discs) from Blockbusters yesterday for 27. I have only watched the extras discs so far but this boxset has got everything. A very well produced item.

The black and white photographs in Bob Burns’s garden of the 8' Nostromo and the large refinery are amazing.
People have unfairly criticised Bob over the years for leaving them in the garden, but when 20th Centuary Fox unexpectedly sent him three 40' wagons of props and models where else would he put them?
Where would any normal house owner find the space?
