Via a Google image search, IIRC. I was looking for an AB 22" kit.

No big epiphany in my case. Watching 'Space:1999' and 'UFO' on DVD made my thoughts turn to the Anderson SFX and then a possible return to scale modelling, having abandoned the hobby in my teens. Google brought me here, and I gorged myself on past posts until the persistent 'You seem to be enjoying....' prompt led me to sign up.

Exactly the same with me. After finishing up graduate school and working for a while I finally had time to do some 1999 "fishing" on google which led me here

It was a site that came up on few occasions when I was searching the web for reference for a CG build once. Being a general Anderson fan since I was a kid I made a mental note of it but didn't get round to signing up at the time as I had very limited internet access. Then recently I was searching for reference again, and there it was again. This time I jumped in.

Same as Chris, I was looking for modeling tips on Google and I stumbled across it. I read some posts and thought: "What the hey, let's sign up." And I did.

End of story.

George.

Was surfing the net looking for S1999 material for my collection when I ran upon it. Glad I did, looks like a good place to share information and get some of my questions answered.

I found this site via a link on the Dave Sisson Models site. I found that site via good ol' Google.

I found ETF and joined June 2009, after researching Keith Young's SPACE:1999 BLUEPRINTS at SPACE1999.net/catacombs.

Well, there are a few of us, but I suspect most of us are off the 'available' market. , anyhow!

I always wanted to know how to reproduce a puppet ( after having owned a one once) to fill the void and get me back into model making. Astrocat sorted it and I was hooked. Thanks Keith....

Looking for pics to guide my Eagle Pinewood Derby Car build. (Somebody asked for pics--as soon as I can figure out how to work these new-fangled cameras. . . .)
