Thanks Knight, have not decided on my next one yet but I'm thinking simpler.

Well the weather aint great, but heres the last of the pics. At least it did not start snowing again while we took pics.

Now I just have to put the wheels on it!
Celebration time!

What a fantastic end to a great journey. Followed this like a kid opening up a present on his birthday, every time a new post was added I looked forward to the next.
Incredable attention to detail, and a genuine love of the subject matter makes this build so captivating!!!!!
Sublime work James, truly an inspiration to us all

"Not Studio quality" Hunch? you're right, this far far far exceeds studio quality, all that remains now is for me to send you mine as a fixer upper I'll pay you a fiver

Excellent! This has been an inspirational build.

That last photo really stunned me because, for the first time, I really understood how small this model is! Amazing; just amazing.

You should be very proud.

I just found this build tonight and I have spent the last few hours reading and studying what you have done from start to finish with this model.

All I can say is Unbelievable!

Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead, but I didn't want to start another.
Back in January, when I completed this tough build, I said I was intending to enter it in the CHILLER EXPO model contest in April but forgot they no longer did the model contest at the April show, just the October one.
Saturday I enetered it under the professional catagory (I produce resin monster kits so I had to use this catagory)and took FIRST PLACE! I could not believe it!
Just wanted to thank everyone here for there guidence. JD, Dazzo, and anyone else I may be forgeting. Thanks guys.

Hunch - Nice model and well done with the comp'. Hope you don't mind but I adjusted one of your Sky1 images to see what it looked like without the wooden stick.

Fantastic work!
I'd just wish Tamiya would do some Gerry Anderson kits, I mean how many Spitfire kits can one person build?
I know in the 60's they produced the hyper rare Joe90 kits but isn't it time we had the same standard of kits that military modellers have been enjoying for just about ever!
How about it Tamiya?
