That's looking great, Ken. I love the first two Stargate series.

Ken, my mind just reels whenever I see your work. You certainly have mastered this art.

I realise you would rather be modelling than talking about it, but I (and other prospective scratchbuilders, I strongly suspect) would greatly appreciate it if you started a new thread in which you occasionally post details of the techniques and materials that you use. Lots of photos and a detailed description from which we can learn to improve ourselves.

I have also asked Eagle-1 to do this, and I do understand the magnitude of the task. I have written tutorials in my areas of expertise so I am well aware of the time and effort that goes into it. The more people are willing to share their knowledge and experience the more valuable the resource will be for everyone. I hope you agree.

Cheers

I Agree with you- I wish I had more Materials that I could Used the Nearest hobby shop to me is 365 km in both directions, so I make do with what I can get. so all my scratchbuild Models are made from the same materials --I buy a 4x8 sheet of styrene (Plastic) .060 thick for the main body then i detail it with .030 styrene --so that is the materials that i used-- will glue to and a few odds and ends from my parts box --but most things i cut out of styrene
Thanks
Ken

One of my brothers live in hawaii and he has sent me some ciedo disks of shows that I like to watch and one is a stargate disk and there is an ad for a stargate to have on display and it has a surface that makes it look like the wormhole is running too.
it's something I'll have to get.
