Default 'The Terrornauts' - 1967, 1st Star Gate?

Not quite as sophisticated as the one in Stargate, but simple as it may be, here it is. Is it the 1st d'ya suppose?

How come most of the specialty channels such as The Sci-Fi
Channels or Space The Imagination Station doesn't ever play
these rare Classic British SF and Fantasy and Horror shows
and movies on tv anymore?

Good question. I'd rank this with 2 other 60's Sci Fi classics, Robinson Crusoe on Mars & Planet of the Vampires.

Interesting to see Charles Hawtreylisted.
I also notices some of Barry Gray's work in the soundtrack

It's a Milton Subotsky produced movie, Subotsky had used Gray's work in some of his other movies - there was obviously a developed relationship.

Incidentally I saw this film as the B feature to the Anthony Newley's musical version of a Christmas Carol, "Scrooge" back in 1970. I recall most at school were going to see this double bill because of the Terrornauts, not because of Scrooge. Although Scrooge is not too shabby in my opinion.

And judging by his face in the clips, he looked like he didn't know what to make of it all!
