Oh my, Deignasaurus is scaring me now, for a few years now I have been searching the thrift stores for the perfect flat sphere for a base for Zantors ship, almost found one in a old plastic steamer I think it was,or a rolling vacuum cleaner ?? Oh well,I guess us mattel guys think alike. Good luck on your project and Im sure it will look awsome (dont forget the rescue eagle docking door ). I have had some ideas for Zantors crew, action figures I can share. .... I talked to a guy 3 days ago on e-bay ,who is making a Mattel scale superswift!!! I told him all about this site and hopefully we will have another Mattel customiser in the ranks soon.

Nice.

Yep, I have a set of Tupperware-ish salad bowls which are a close shape. Unfortunately nothing, absolutely nothing, bonds to Tupperware! I might still have access to a large-scale vacu-form machine. If so, I'm going to make a wood blank and then draw the main hull in heavy styrene (a-la-Eagle) or 1/16th" polycarbonate.

Let's talk more about figures! I bet Christopher Lee's head could be pulled off of one of the Lord of the Rings figures.

hey Designasaurus, look on youtube, they have lots of instructions to make your own cheap vacumformer. I was thinking of a fisherprice figure for the body,I think hes called the "flier" or somthing. his legs are non moving and need to be fixed up but just as tall as the orange astronauts and I think with a new head (great idea about LOTR by the way),cape and paint job would look great. I have a spare I can send with the buggy if you like. Let me know about marking it Attn: you or ? and can. send them off

Wow, amazing EAGLE, love the landing gear especially. Hey Collectinmikey, how did you make the transport pod detachable and attachable? It looks like it fits like a glove.
