Default 'Find Ed Strakers Car' on Facebook

Hi everybody, just a quick hello and an invitation to join and possibly help our group in tracking down the 'Ed Straker' car, presently languising in a back garden in Birmingham. While we recognise the privacy of the owners of not just this car, but also the 'Foster' variant; our belief is that we should 'truly' rescue these icons of motoring and restore them to their former glory, and place them in a museum where people can enjoy them, as they are without question, part of our motoring culture. So we can all help by spreading the word, and start by tracking down this vehicle.

Why bother with all this? Just contact Jeff Smart, he filmed it several years ago. I'm sure someone here would know how to contact him.

Default Jeff Smart etc

I am not sure if this is the same chap that attempted to produce a video over ten years or so now?, something like 'That was the future that was?'.
Apart from the fact that the material that he accumulated is probably of imense value to the Fanderrson and UFO fraternity, from what I can gather, nothing further came of it, and we know nothing of the producer, but even so, we would not presume he would break a confidence he shared with the cars owner at the time.

Many Thanks Alan

Hi Alan,

I believe someone has this in hand already, they have plans for a full restoration.

Beliefs are good... we heard the same about the 'Foster' car also. And yet the years go by, and the cars get worst, to our horror.
