Superb work Rob, nice detail pictures of the construction and a great masterclass of the panel production. I think anyone would be inspired to have a go after following this thread....

Looks to me like you have totally cracked this complex and difficult build.

Thank you.

Ok, I've finished up the final details for the first "Dome" tank. The next builds won't take NEAR as long. I've made templates and written everything.

Next step (after I build a few more now) will be to finish these with some paint.

Thank you Madsen!

It all fell into place once I got past that hump.........get it........LOL!

These have been a total thrill for me to build here Madsen. You simply would not believe how long I researched these.

I'll post some more later as I'm still building several of each kind of tank. That one was the prototype, so to speak. Every one of those parts are my castings and I'll post more once I make one using all original kit parts so y'all can compare. I'll also need to figure out another motor set up to operate the laser on one of these "Dome" tanks too. I'll show that when it's farther along.

I'm doing a MUCH more detailed description and pictures on another forum if anyone would like better details (Bernie? You said you would like to see more detail??). There are a couple fellow modelers who plan to join in with builds of these using my parts (on that forum) so that I can be sure that someone else would be able to use my instructions and descriptions, so shortly, we should be right in the middle of an all out tank fest!

I've already done this with one of my "Eagle" tanks. Fellow member here "Jay" has built one of my "Eagle" tanks and won several awards at "Wonderfest with it, so I know my details work for that one.

Before it's all said and done, there should be a fairly detailed kit list and full set of dimensions and even a couple tricks I've discovered alonng the way with these.

Rob.
