It might just be the tricks lighting can play - the image on the previous page was taken using camera flash, the one below (ooh! Look! They're breeding!) was shot in daylight

Have a look on the previous page, Ham Salad - same gun, different lighting The paint job is Ford Roman Bronze.

Nice grip, what's it made from? To give them the final veneer of authenticity, throw them down some concrete stairs then light a small fire in the muzzle.

The grip and side panels were laser cut, and I moulded from them.

And I'll throw mine down concrete steps and set fire to it if you'll do the same with yours

Ok, looking at the originals, it seems you have to attack them with a Brillo pad then get two dogs to fight over them as well, making an accurate replica of these is really complicated.

In all seriousness I will be weathering mine, but not hopefully to the extent the BBC did their's!
