Does $250.00 US equal anything like that? I could spend that much, anyway.

Default UFO Remake

I did read some time ago through "Fanderson" that a certain interested party called James Cameron thought the stories from UFO were good still today and people in Canada were interested in getting the rights to make the show.

The show would differ considerably from the original being set in "modern times" aka today, but with undertones from the days of "The Invaders" and "X-Files." The stories would have the pretext of the Aliens already on Earth amongst us humans...definately sounds like "The Invaders!" No need for a Moonbase or SkyDiver or the cost of SFX!

You can't beat the original!

"Launch SkyOne!"

I would hate that version of UFO. Just as I hated the 80s version of War of the Worlds. If they are aliens in human form, then you have -- more or less -- a cop show. Yuk.

i read the story in Fanderson and thought this is not the way to go.the original idea needs to remain the same, just brought into the 21st century.we can only dream

Default Dr. What....?

Hope those Two "Whovians" are enjoying their evening even if it is minus: "Running up and down Corridors", "Reversing The Polarity", "Pig men, Rhino Men, Cat Men....a quick singalong of "The Old Rugged Cross",
and a clever solution of "Pulling out the plug..." plus strong science of Daleks evolution....into Squid men......
and all the ultra subtle stuff in their "more mature" new show....?

Thank you Mr.Davies....!

I'm not sorry I brought it up....this latest series answers you better than I ever could....

Still trying to get the last word in then

Yep still enjoying it and the kids keep asking me why it isn't on.

Great fun family entertainment

My family loves it and all my old 1980's DWAS local group friends do to.

So

IMO far better off leaving well alone completely, rather than completely f*** it up for the sake of making it. If they want to change it from what it is, then make something else instead.

if a remake ever came out i see no reason to change the format at all. keep the original idea the same, strong story lines and good characters.modernise the hardware and a bigger moonbase and away we go.what's that darling ,i'm talking in my sleep again.oh well ,nice dream while it lasted.
cheers Paul
