Are you SURE about the canopy being from a Futura? I actually have one and it's nothing like the TX204 - the Futura ended up as the 1960's Batmobile and the windscreen on that was very distinctive and nothing like that of the TX204

Sorry not the Futura, but it is from a 1/25th Monogram car kit that's very similar in name..
The kit was a concept car and it has only be re-released one (and therefore very expensive) a Car modelling friend of mine has one. But won't let me have it or take a moulding (it's still attached to the clear sprue and therefore if damaged will reduce the kits value Basic shape P38 and a bit of crashforming job done |

This actual model is being built for a certain Group Editor of a well known sci-fi publication. So therefore is going to be in Trapped configuration.
But your right Forest Fire type would be very very cool! I've just printed out Mike HD grabs and the engines are definitely Lindberg (the exhaust nozzles are unmistakable). Off to the RC shop tomorrow for wing spar material. |

The Monogram kit of the Thunderbird appeared as the Spoke City Police car in the Thunderbirds episode "3O Miinutes Afternoon" And as a convertible in Thunderbirds episode "City Of Fire".
