Thumbs up

The last Gerry Anderson purchase I´ve made was the

1976 Eagle Transporter made by Airfix

I´ve got that on xmas eve in ´76, but I lost it over the years...

But found the kit on Ebay a month ago, bought it, so now I have my original 1976 Eagle Transporter again..

Default One's junk is another's replica puzzle piece

This isn't a purchase exactly, but I spotted this and thought of the Century 21 fans.

Some of these became explosives transports, others liquid oxygen trucks. This one became the signage for a night club in Toronto.

Wow... to see an iconic source-model trussed up in a net like that is rather sad, isn't it?

So...did you make an explosive transport, or a liquid oxygen truck out of the bunny?

I got a pair of Yujin PVC Thunderbirds figures recently... they look to be about 1/32 scale, certainly compared with my other 1/32 figures.

Also this 5" Braman figure. Never seen this sold before.

Is that the Braiman that came with the Brains 12 inch figure back end of the 90's?

Troy, I have no idea. I saw it on eBay, no-one bid on it so I got it for a song. I actually forgot about the Thunderbirds 12" figures.

The body is ABS plastic with the arms, legs and head in a softer material. I think this could look pretty smart with a neat repaint

(Might replace the 'hands' with more delicate ones)

Is that book actually any good? I've seen it on Amazon but would like an opinion from a fellow Anderson fan as to whether it's worth getting

The book is stunning, a lot better than expected, and for that price you can't go wrong!

Absolutely!
Some excellent, all new art work, and the cutaways of Tracy Island are very good indeed.
They've not just rehashed previous diagrams.
