Default TB2 / SWORD SPINNING TOP

Spotted this amazing Spinning Top on Ebay last month. Of German origin it was being sold in Sweden. You can see the silver TB2 clearly but what aren't so clear are the Project sword Scramble Bug and Moon Prospector on the lunar background. I love this top, it's so wierd! There's more pics on the SWORD blog here. Anyone seen anything else like it? Great thread by the way

Guess if the TB's weren't air-worthy, the Tracy boys could always drive to the rescue!

Amazing what a difference it makes seeing them in a different colour! TB3 actually reminds me more of the "Liberator" from "Blake's 7" now I have seen it in white. I wonder if this was an influence on the design of the "Liberator"?

That kid's ANGEL mask is a cracker. Never seen that before. It is amazing the stuff they did. Reasonably authentic too for a kid's mask. Thanks for posting it. The die-casts are a bit 'out there' in those colours and proof that maybe even Dinky's weird and wonderful colour schemes sometimes look like works of art compared to other toys. Nice to see them all carded like that. Great stuff again.

I agree! Super Angels mask Chris - such wonderful nick! Those carded YOT Thunderbirds toys are super too. I saw them the first time in Dennis Nicholson's essential Anderson Memorabilia Guide in the 90's. There's a loose YOT TB1 on Ebay US at the mo. Dennis's book alerted me to a similar range by ZEE TOYS too called Firebirds and there's the Firebirds TB3-clone on Ebay US at the mo as well! Great toys you all have guys!
