hears the brass flat pieces that go on top of skids. the second one is a mistake piece that i am still going to use, the suport brakets and solder will cover the hole on the top and the plastic skid will cover it on the bottom.at $6.25 for a brass sheet you can see y im useing all my scraps i can.

hears an update on my skids ,now just waiting to order some solid square rod and some square tube rod on e-bay got to find some money to finish the small parts.

just watched some space 1999 episodes and the landing skids have no detail on the bottom so that settles that.

updateing my engines while waiting for brass parts for my skids. i built the small tank fuel lines ,just have to do the big tank fuel lines.

hears my engine update. i added the large fuel tank fuel lines.i now just have to fill alittle prime and paint the fuel lines .....and yes i decided to do these fuel lines after i painted my engines . i liked some more detail so i had to do it.

hears the finished cockpit. i might see what one of the optional lined decales looks like just behind the thruster plat. just to give it some more detail , only if it looks good though.

Hi all these brass pieces are takeing longer than i thought they would . You solder one point and heat up another section and the piece you just did falls off. ahhh ... im now in the prosess of makeing the spring arm cutting the pieces and drilling holes makeing sure everything bends and works smoothly, And its hard to find the right size for a brass channel piece where the plastic skid ataches to the down shaft. Ill see if i can find some square brass tube that i can cut up to make work.

hears my first one. I solderd the brass tubes on an angle to the base threw drilled holes. Then i soldered the lower structer together, after many tries of soldering the two structures together and haveing them fall apart do to melting solder i decided to use j-b weld to hold the two structures together im prety sure itl work well.
