Default G'day Fellas

Just wanted to say G'day from the land down under.

Phil is my name and although i'm mostly a BSG nut i do also like a lot of other subjects which the site here contains. Look forward to popping in from time to time and thanks for having me.

G'day Jeff!!

Well besides the folk down here it is a beautiful country ta boot. A really easy going lifestyle we have down here with plenty to see and enjoy. I've been fortunate to be able to visit your neck of the woods in my lifetime and i enjoyed my time over there very much. Hope you get a similar opportunity to visit our land someday!

The BSG. Specifically, the huge modeling projects. I keep hoping to see something life sized at some point.

As for the nuts, have you ever been to california?

Oh, Phil's a modeller alright. Just you guys wait to see what he's built and is building!

It must definitely be something in the water that turns us into BG/1999 nuts. He and I are neighbours!

You two should get together and build something REALLY big. On the other hand, do you like mad max?

Hope you're a modeller as well and hope to see some of your work.

I didn't mind the Nu series either but my passion is still for the original. Sure some of the episodes are not the greatest but at the time it was pretty neat to grow up with just the same.

I have been trying my hand at some modelling over he last few years. Hadn't really touched a model for 20+ years when i was still in me late teens. Then a few lears ago i learnt there was this thing called Studio Scale and got to see a SS Battlestar in the works. Life just hasn't been the same!

Well if we put our current builds end on end it would be something around 150". Just trying to build one half of that is big enough for me!!

Mad Max, hell yeah!!

I love the new BSG series. Not so much a fan of the old one.
