Default Greetings

Hello everyone. I go by the name of Deson Bowenford in several places on the net. (Places his chin in his hand for a second as he thinks). I've always viewed the Eagle from Space 1999 as one of (if not the) most beautifully designed space craft ever made for an SF series. Been a Gerry Anderson fan for ages. I'll admit that I have a lot of reading to do here and I'm looking forwards to it. For fun I do a little CGI work myself using Bryce 7.1 This is strictly hobby level and nothing professional mind you. You can find me on Deviant Art if you're interested. http://deson-bowenford.deviantart.com/

Well, you take care then and I'll be around!

I wish I could claim credit for the Nemo's Sea Monster picture. It however has given me some thoughts as far as my own version though. My skills are at best hobby level but I do have my fun though. My hardest part though at this point is finding the time. Then again this is a problem with a lot of people though I imagine. (chuckle)

Edit to add:

In the meantime though I do have my fun in Orbiter though. No, I didn't make the model, I just pilot it for fun.

Glad you people like it like it. If it's all right, I think I'll add a couple more. That pic of the climb and bank was one of those "Quick! Take the snapshot before I lose control!!" situations. (chuckle) In advance I'll admit I'm not that great of a pilot so I've enabled a few things like unlimited fuel etc thus the VERY extended range of the Jupiter pic.

And finally a couple showing the Leif Erickson (AKA the Jeffries). A fun but very, very fast ship that can be somewhat hard to control at times.

This location should be familiar to you people.

Take care and thanks for the welcome.

They're terrific, Deson. Thanks for sharing. Whet's the appetite just enough to savour the new 1999 movie, which is supposedly due out soon...
