Thanks, BEATLEPAUL - what I'm looking for is how would I PHYSICALLY connect the lights to a power source when I'm testing them out? Is there a way to connect the power supply that you plug into the wall up to the LEDs directly or does it have to run though the PCBs? Or can I just twist the bare wires to the LED leads? Or, something else? (Like I said - I'm an ignoramus when it comes to electronics. Ugh!)

Thanks again for being patient with me

No worries my friend! It seems there isn't much interest in this here.

I ran everything through the PCB boards...Best way to be safe without blowing the LEDs. You can work on the Secondary hull/Nacells and ONLY use the PCB board and LEDs for that section. Round 2 did an almost idiot proof way of doing this.

Awesome, BEATLEPAUL. Thanks a bunch. I really had NO IDEA how I was going to do this but the idea of putting the thing together and having the lights NOT WORK was giving me night terrors!
I'm making really good progress on my Eagle and as soon as that's done I'm going straight into the Enterprise build.

Damn! That's a helluva bridge the guy is building! I've taken out the clear part that came with the lighting kit. Even at 1/350 scale, it's REALLY TINY. Gonna be tough detailing that puppy.

You do know who "Atlanthia" is, don't you? It is our very own Darren, of the 50" budget Eagle Build! :-)

I have a HUGE amount of respect for scratch builders. I've only ventured into that area a couple of times in my later years. Big ATTABOY to our guy!!

I'm looking forward to my build, too! I don't build a lot of styrene kits any more, though that's changing as some of the newer big companies are coming out with stuff I actually want. That didn't happen for a l-o-n-g time.
