Default B7 Teleport bracelet varient

Hi guys,

A while ago I read, or spoke to Martin Bower and he said that when making the Teleport bracelets and Fed guns that he thought, at the time they were for the same group, hense the same brown colour...
I thought what would it be like to see a bracelet to match the Liberator guns, colourwise, so I had a play...

What do you think ?

Andy H

I think that would be interesting as an example of what is used on DSV 1.

Default Liberator Variant

I was so impressed with the concept of a matching bracelet to the blaster that in homage to a very original idea i had a go.

Wow, we'll soon have a rack of 32 of those

I wasn't sure about the yellow/green Perspex at first, but now I quite like it !!

Good work TFU

I've always fancied a chrome/black/clear Liberator gun...
Shall I have a go ?

Hi Andy,

That's quite a surprise, seeing something as familiar as a Liberator teleport bracelet in different colours ... but a pleasant one! That's great!! TFU's too!

I'd love to see a black/chrome gun!!

Looks like I'm going to have to make one then

I've worked with the company that chromed the Cybermen helmets, chest pieces and guns for the Doctor Who story Siver Nemesis.
I was talking to one of the blokes there and he said that he was the person who chromed them, so I asked him why they turned yellow and he said that the BBC had asked for them to be silver, not chrome !
If you look at real sliver it has a slight yellowish tinge.
So they added a little yellow to the top coat.
And also the lacquer at that time reacted with UV light, so it went even more yellow...
They have better UV stable lacquers now...

I think I'll go for the main body, handle and holster chrome, keep the clear parts clear and the black inner rings black.

What do you think ?

That will be an extreme look - im calling my bracelet the Vindicator bracelet from an idea ive had for a while. Im keeping my blaster the usual black and clear but the holster mounts im making out of black cordura and the belt will have a modern side clip buckle.

A chrome-y Liberator gun would look rather good!

Interesting, I wondered at that. So, i imagine if you stripped the clear top coat they would be silver again? Also, I wonder, do they have a branch company in the US?

A capital idea as a way of 'updating' the look of the original prop without changing the design ...

I have tried taking the topcoat off an original Silver Nemesis cybergun, it doesn't work! I am having the original and my replica coated with modern chrome lacquer at the moment.

Ive always been unhappy with the lack of a locking system on the bracelets so ive inserted four small (3mm) super magnets and they hold it beautifully. I guess it might open if you were throwing your arms around wildly!... and they are cheap.
