I love Sarah Jane! Arent they making that Sarah Jane adventures for CBBC, there was a pilot episode on last new years day (or around last Christmas)

I thought Nicola Bryant in a bikini was quite fetching.

Dr Who and particularly Torchwood all suffered from too much melodrama and sentimentality for it's own good. It would fit quite comfortably in the pages of a teenage girls magazine.

I agree. All that focus on Rose's family got very old, very fast. And her boyfriend was a real dweeb and a major detraction, at least until the last few eps he was in. I've only seen a few of the Martha eps, but I read similar comments there. I'm all for character development in a series, but in a show like Dr. Who it should be subtle, and not hitting us over the head like the proverbial sledge-hammer! Ah ha! I've been trying to work this emoticon in somewhere!!
