Hi, Slate and thank you for your comments. No offence taken, I assure you

My intention, however, was to approach it from the TV set perspective as this is an internal piece. The two indents at the tops of the doors were much more rounded on the sets than on the models, so I stayed as faithful as I could, at this scale, to the cockpit screen images that I have.
This will probably show it better than I could explain:

Hope that helps!
Darren

Update: I have finally started casting the seats!!! I will paint a pair up to show the finished pieces tomorrow, hopefully. In the meantime, here are the first two out of the mould.

Default Please take your seats, ladies and gentlemen....

Darren, they're really, REALLY good looking seats - whatever colour you paint them. You have done an outstanding job and, if it's your first time casting, even nmore so. Well done Darren!

Kindest regards,

Patrick

I received a pair of the cockpit seats from Darren today. I am truly impressed by them and Darren's skill at making and casting them. All I need to add is the yellow safety straps. Darren has said he is only doing 10 sets of these so I'd be quick and get an order in. Thanks Darren for very fast delivery too!

I picked up my seats today, and what a joy to see quality such as this
the detail is superb, and very well cast
Cannot fault them for the price superb job.

I still think that a 1/32nd figure would be better than a 1/24th gemini figure and thats my preferance

Again fantastic job Darren
