I am an optimist - not planning on pre-ordering tickets but not giving up yet either.

Nothing is set in stone where movies are concerned. Just because a project has taken a long time to get going doesn't mean it is dead. There are many movies that took a very long time to finally go into production, some as long as 10 years. So... some people need to acquire a characteristic that is generally considered an asset: patience. And a little respect wouldn't hurt either.

I am not about to give up just because someone else does- if it happens great, if not the world still stays the same. I have enough going on in my life that a movie release does not change much.
My only real concern is that it does get produced and it is an annoying reimagined piece of garbage similar in name only. How many years did I patiently wait to see the Thunderbirds on the big screen with state of the art SFX?
