Spotted this morning that Moebius are planning to return to the reimagined series with a 1/350th scale model of Colonial Heavy 798 later known as Colonial One.

Could Moebius be thinking of modelling examples of the entire civilian fleet and how large would a 1/350th scale Galactica be?

Sorry I made a mistake in my previous post Moebius have not yet decided on a scale for their Colonial One model, the 1/350th scale was only put forward as a possibility, the model itself isn't expected until the end of the year at the earliest.

The wait for the classic Galactica is almost over, Cult Tv man in the USA have said that deliveries to his store are expected this coming Friday the 14th of March. Additionally Paragraphix are releasing a photo etch for this kit at the end of this month.

The Cylon Raider is expected a month or so after the Galactica hits the shelves, and we may get more details from Moebius about their Colonial One model at the Wonderfest show at the end of May.

And it's confirmed Galactica has landed in model stores in the US, I expect that it will take a few weeks to reach British stores.

It's been reported that the classic series Cylon Raiders have arrived at Moebius and should start winging their way to stores over the next few days.

Further news on the 1/72nd scale kits from the new series, moebius have said that each box will come as a pair of identical models. They have also said that the Cylon Raider will also be available in 1/72nd scale also at two per box.

It is indeed, it should make it easier to build up a squadron of Vipers for display in various colour schemes, I've seen several ideas over on Deviant Art.

Moebius have implied that they have plans for other Galactica subjects in 1/72nd scale, the original series Vipers & Cylon Raider are one possibility, perhaps the Landram or maybe, just maybe we will finally see the Raptor.

We will just have to wait and see what Moebius have in store for us.

For those working on the newly released Raider the company JAI have apparently produced a transparent canopy for the kit which comes with three resin Cylons. That should make things easier for the more adventurous modeller.

This years Wonderfest in the States has been and gone without any major announcements by the model companies of new products, unlike the past few years. It seems that Moebius is busy with it's established products, any hope for any major new model releases from Moebius is likely to be at the iHobby show in October.
