Default Props

Hi,

I have the PE Stun Gun/Communicator set. I quite like the detail of them, but they are obviously about 15% or so too small versus the real prop (I understand this was to do resin shrinkage).
FabGearUSA has stun gun and communicator props on their website. Are these more accurate in terms of size and detail?

Resin shrinkage ? More likely they just screwed up the dimensions. Resin shrinkage sounds like baloney ! The Fab gear one does not look as accurate (check out the gun's grip). If you want something high in the accuracy stakes check out the Propmaker gun.

or this one by Clint Young that was molded from an original

I suspect the PE Commlock and Stun Gun set was sized from the Starlog Technical Notebook. They were too small by about the same percentage.

I suspect you are correct (!) That makes more sense then "resin shrinkage".
