Default Absent friends

I thought it was appropriate that with so many sad losses that we have a thought for all our absent friends, family fellows and acquaintances.

Please feel free to add anyone you would like to be fondly remembered here.

Gone but not forgotten, we celebrate a good life and we are thankful for the happy memories left with us.

Default Tony Barnes

I want to remember Tony Barnes who was a long time moderator and friend.

Tony's model making and in particular wargaming figure painting was the stuff of legends, he was one of the first members I spoke to when I joined ETF. I was very lucky to have met him on several occasions and will always remember him as a warm and friendly person.

Sleep tight, bless you mate and thank you.

I think that Gerry Anderson should be amongst all those people. Without him and all those people who have been working with him on all those series in our youth and later on we are not able to be here and follow our dreams. Thank you Gerry.

Thank you Derrick Meddings.

Please feel free to add all those wonderful people who we have lost.

Default Dad....

.....who took me to see "Thunderbirds Are Go" at the Glasgow Odeon all those years ago, and who sat through every episode of Space 1999 on Thursday nights. It's been six years now, two days before Christmas every year - still the brightest star in the heavens.

Night Dad, all our love

RJ Andron who passed away just a few months back. RJ was a terrific CG artist and was working on a Space 1999 project and he'll be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Default Remembering...

For Mr Anderson, on this saddest of days...

For those who, during this year soon to end, passed to Moonbase Eternal...

For my grandmother, who passed four days before Christmas; I remember even now spending Christmas Day that year on a Greyhound bus, to be with the rest of my family for her funeral...

And for my brother-in-law, who's spending his first Christmas season without my younger sister, who we lost (to cancer) this past August...

We Remember.

Eileen Skidmore, who passed away suddenly a few months ago. A strong force in 1999 fandom since it first played on our screens back in the 70's and who, along with Phyll Proctor, ran Nick Tate's official fan club.
