Default Thunderbirds type puppets vs. Scarlet type

PROS AND CONS

The Scarlet proportions tends to make the characters look like Barbie and
Ken Dolls. Being realistic proportions requires their movements to be more
controlled and reduced. On the other hand, the Thunderbirds type being less realistic can have more movement. What do you prefer more realism and less
movement or less realism and more movement? Comments?

I think it comes down to perceived character (see my earlier post)

Default Final few hours of the Kickstarter campaign

We are into the last 48 hours of the Kickstarter campaign and Firestorm has been funded. There are still exciting stretch objectives within sight though and there is still time to make a pledge and get yourself some Firestorm goodies into the bargain. If you have already made a pledge there are some really nice extras and upgrades that will make nice additions to your package.

Ever heard of creating a fusion of well-proportioned bodies with the facial styles of
the characters intact with them?

A combination of well-proportioned head and body styles from Capt Scarlet with the
facial styles of the characters from Stingray to Thunderbirds, you've got to be more
artistically inventive.

Is this new show only going to be broadcasted in the U.K. only?

It's only a minisode being made as a pilot, it's not a series...yet.

Default Reaction to Firestorm and other ideas

My reaction to Firestorm was absolute excitement about using puppets and models, but zero excitement about the specific concept.

Anyone else have a similar reaction?

Perhaps there is room for another group to make a
different puppet pilot, perhaps something more
far out. Something that could be launched on
Kickstarter too. What do you think?

I watched the original anime with fansubs about 10 years ago. Pretty complicated story line: the bad guys are global terrorists (think COBRA) who turn out to be invading aliens!

And the Stormforce submarine base had a super fabricator on board that could build anything the team needed.
