Default One of many to grace the series.....

One of Space 1999's strengths was its ability to book top-quality guest artistes for the first Season. I still hold Margaret Leighton's discourse with Martin Landau as the epitome of Season One's success in showing just how tiny, yet important, Alpha's place in the universe actually was. Richard Johnson had a difficult job in making some kind of sense of his role in the partially-successful "Matter Of Life and Death". I'm not too familiar with a lot of his work, but he was obviously highly regarded, and he joins a growing list of famous Alphans no longer with us.

Kindest regards
