Default EAGLE E ONE xp spacecaft

Hello everyone,
yes its the old guy back once more with a new model of the first eagle test bed which was built on moonbase alfa to sort out the general layout of the craft and sytems test bed, I hope you like her please let me knw what you think as you always do ( makes for better model when you know where you have gone wrong ).

there is a couple more test bed machines lurking around in some far craters of the moon which have yet to see the light of day, keep your eyes peeled.

regards Barrie ( the old guy )

Default Piping hot.....

You've gone to town with the pipework Barrie - Technical must have had a time of it making sure stuff didn't freeze up and burst the pipes, or that seals didn't give way, but that's prototypes for you. Your Eagle XP is definitely from the same stable as our beloved First Lady, and your expert handiwork is apparent yet again. I like the single engine design - presumably, if they could get it off the ground at all with one engine, they could then add additional motors to raise speed and power once the control systems were tested.

Keep us updated with any and all developments Barrie - do you envisage building a passenger pod or cargo pallet for the XP to carry?

Kindest regards

Patrick

Very well done!- you captured the design elements and still kept them looking like a hand built experimental flight test.

thank you gentlemen,
for your comments, as a test bed for the next generation of craft this was modified many times, to test everything and make sure things were ( bullet proof ) before going into production. The next craft on the Eagle generation ladder is already begining to take shape and may well be flying as a test rig in a few weeks time.

Just an idea- how about having some of the piping/equipment unpainted metal like they were the most recent additions to the craft?
