That's quite a collection Alpha One! Are you gathering a fleet in case you get blown out of orbit?

Wow! I'm so jealous! So many of you guys & gals have such great collections!

I've never had the right $ at the right time to be able to get a collection of PE Eagles. I did manage to get only one lonely little 12" Eagle Transporter. Amazingly it was at a hobby swap meet here in little old Adelaide. One of the sellers there had this loose Eagle on his stand and my eyes nearly popped out. You rarely see any descent sci-fi gear at these events here. I hadn't even bothered to go to the cash machine to get any money out! He was asking $40 for it and when I looked in my wallet I only had $34 (about 22 at current exchange rate). I offered it and he took it! Every now and then I get an urge to paint the red rescue stripes on the pod as that is my favourite variant. But I know I wouldn't do a good enough job

Aside from my 1 PE Eagle I only have:

1 green dinky Transporter
1 all white dinky Transporter (yeah, I know... but I love it anyways!)
1 Roadstars mini die cast "Hawk Transporter" - which is actually an Eagle (though it has a pic of the Hawk on the pack!)
1 Konami Eagle Transporter
1 Konami Rescue Eagle (Yay!)
1 Konami Hawk (orange)
1 AMT/ERTL Eagle Transporter kit (unbuilt)
1 Aoshima Eagle Transporter kit (unbuilt)
1 Imai Eagle Transporter kit (unbuilt)
1 23" Replicas Unlimited Eagle Transporter kit (unbuilt) + parts to make an additional lab pod.

Hmmm... I guess I have more eagles than I thought I did.

Still jealous but!

Don't feel bad. I've only got two PE Eagles (standard and lab version). I wanted to get the gift pack so I could have the spine booster, but I missed out. Other than that, I have three Konami Eagles, an orange Konami Hawk, my built MPC Eagle, about three more unbuilt AMT/Ertl Eagles and that is all. I would like to get the Replicas Unlimited Eagle now that one vendor managed to get more of them. But it is going to take me awhile to scrape up the funds for it.

If you want an RU Eagle (I assume you mean the 23") & you know where to get one it might be wise grab it! The Eagle kit (standard & Lab pod) disappeared from the RU website months ago and I haven't seen them back since. I've been meaning to email Ron to see if is intending to continue with them.

I'll get back to you on that.

Cheers,

Purp.

He did a small production batch for Federation Models last month. They had them for sale at Wonderfest. As much as I want to jump on it, my funds have other priorities right now. I think I can still find one when I scrape up the cash for it.

Good news NeoGoglu - thanks for the update. I wonder what areas he is going to improve. I got mine a year or so ago but haven't started building it yet. Might be able to get some updated bits for it!

I wonder if he has similar plans for the Hawk?

I own all the Versions of the small PE Eagles, with 3 extra Eagles in the attic plus another one on which I converted the winch pod to a standard pallet pod.

Then I own all 4 versions of the 22" PE Eagles (the lab version being the discounted one with some minor production issues... but it looks fine enough to me). With these models I have the issue, that I didn't like the dark grey landing pods on the first batch and the chrome engine bells on the second batch. But so far I left them untouched.

Further there are 3 Dinkys, 1 Mattel and one mostly finished 44" Eagle (some panelling not finished, currently working on pod).

Further Moonbuggies in 4 sizes (including one of the original filming miniatures).

PE VIP Eagle
Konami Rescue Eagle
and a surprisingly well preserved Dinky Freighter from my childhood that spent over 30 years in a leaky garden shed (even has all four radioactive waste pods albeit with ropey transfers ! lol)
