Default First production 22'' Eagle Upgrades ?

Hello , First of all Happy New Year !
I Was wondering if round 2 is going to sell the 2nd production upgrades or even the new decals to those of us that ran I got the Eagle as soon as it came out ? I know they're selling extra/improved decals for some of the Star Trek models. Thank you in advance for any news and hope we all have a Happy modeling year full of unwarped kits ! Tony

Tony, early in December they announced a new version of the Eagle with the cargo pod, winch and waste drums. This will be a full kit only and won't be offered as an accessory set - unfortunately!

I've heard nothing about them releasing an upgrade kit for the original release, parts or decals. Perhaps in the distant future, if you want to wait. To reference Pro Mod's comments, there is no upgrades to the Eagles, other than the aluminum accessory kit already released. I would have liked them to release a Laboratory Pod, but I believe that will only happen if they release another full Eagle kit. Their reasoning is explained on their website.

They are releasing a "Special Edition" which is almost twice the price and for that princely sum you get some extra decals, a poster and an autographed print along with the kit... ahem...

The other upgrade they did announce was more of a fix for some faulty parts on the sprues such as the over large block supports for the leg attitude thrusters and a fix for the casting flaws that sometimes affects the cockpit transparencies.

No decals are being released separately at this time. But, if you need more decals I was given permission to print out for personal use not for sale decals from Colin Omilusik. My Facebook group has the files and Colin will print them out for $12 a sheet plus shipping.

I also have from Colin a set of blueprints to scratch build a 1/48 scale spine booster for the 22" eagle. Here is a snippet of them.

Thank You Todd ! How do I go about getting a set of decals ? I don't do Facebook . I'm in the Bronx NY. Can send payment thru Paypal .
According to Round 2 they will sell the new improved decals after they sell all of the new Gen 2 Eagles.
Thank you again for your help and that's a fantastic build ! Tony

Default Roud up more pods.

As far as I am concerned the Lab Pod is just an extension added on both side of the regular Pod. They should include these parts with the Cargo Pod in order that we might use this option on a regular Pod. Do they include a small moon buggy as well with the Cargo Pod.

Can't wait to get this. Any hint of a release date as yet, Todd?

Probably around June maybe. Hobbylinc already has a preorder set up for $90.00 which is an awesome price.

It's a fabulous price but I have no idea how much customs fees I would have to pay on top to get it sent to the UK? It does say price includes shipping but won't there be other charges ?

That price is for USA shipping. I have no idea about International shipping, you should give them a call.
