Some beautiful pictures there.

Didn't make it to this year's show, but intend to go in 2008 when hopefully the newly restored Vulcan XH558 will make a welcome appearance.

Nice work, nice photos too. I haven't been to an air show for years. It was tons of fun.

Thanks for the kind words fellow Alphans!

Oh yes the Vulcan- cannot wait to see that on the airshow circuit. The restored plane had its maiden flight last week.

I'd rate RIAT as really one of the best shows in Europe, with Biggin Hill close behind. Duxford isn't bad, but they had a lot less metal flying this year. If I ever get the chance would not mind getting over to Oshkosh in the US next year.

The pictures...I was surprised that the photos came out okay...largely thanks to the Camera- Sony Alpha 100- apt name don't you think? I just about managed the correct exposure and appropriate shutter speed. The Sony knew I was an idiot and compensated for that!

What did draw me to RIAT this year was the Thunderbirds and the fact that 2007 was the last year for the F-117 Stealth Fighter before it ends up mothballed in Arizona.

On another note alot of stalls do sell PE stuff- you can get a bargain or two from them. I've seen the 23" Eagle go for about £199 there and the green banana for the same. If you're a diecast lover then it's a good venue for buying some good models at reasonable prices.

Thanks again for looking.
